Victoire Francaise. S.M. l'Empereur Guillaume felicite Théry, le vainqueur de la Coupe Gordon-Bennett. (French Victory, Emperor Wilhelm II congratulates the winner of the Gordon-Bennett Cup) Frenchman Léon Théry, winner of the Gordon Bennett Cup in auto racing, 1904. The Gordon Bennett Cup was first held in 1900. The 1904 race was run in the Taunus mountains in Germany and was won by Théry in a Richard-Brasier car.
