A-1 Opschriften / Merken: opschrift, linksboven / rechtsboven, gegraveerd: ‘No. 1, page. 15. / An. 7.’opschrift, midden onder, gegraveerd: ‘Chapeau á l'ecossaise / chapeau á la grecque / bonnet au repentir’ Omschrijving: Vrouw, op de rug gezien, met op het hoofd een witte strohoed versierd met linten. Zij draagt een witte japon met lange mouwen op een blauwe onderrok. Om de schouders een lange en grote sjaal van effen mousseline. Volgens de begeleidende tekst in het tijdschrift (p. 15,16 en 17) is een nieuwste versie van Italiaanse tafzijde te koop bij Le Normand, rue Honoré. Onderaan in een kader twee hoeden en een muts op hoedenstandaards: v.l.n.r.: 'Chapeau a l'écossaise, Chapeau a la grecque, Bonnet au repentir'. Prent uit het tijdschrift Le Mois : Journal historique, littéraire et critique avec figures, An 7 en 8 (1799-1800). De prent is een gespiegeld (en iets gewijzigde) kopie naar 19 avril 1799, An 7 (102) uit het modetijdschrft Journal des Dames et des Modes (1797-1839).
