Description |
Au centre de cette toile peinte à l'époque où vivait Giacomo Casanova (1725-1798), se trouve un Burchiello, qui est un bateau couvert à rames assurant une navette quotidienne entre Venise et Padoue par le canal de la Brenta. Casanova empruntait le Burchiello dont une forme moderne existe toujours à Venise et qui propose plusieurs fois par semaine aux touristes de visiter les villas vénitiennes situées au bord de la Brenta. |
