Object history The oval blind stamp of the “Unitarian Sunday School, Belper” is on the title page.
Notes Yellow dyed paper over boards. The lower cover has a list of books. The upper and lower pastedowns and endpapers have publisher’s titles. The upper pastedown has the small square book label of Robin de Beaumont. The upper cover is printed in red and black against a yellow background. It shows a court room scene, with a barrister addressing his remarks to a judge. At the head of the cover is the price: “One Shilling”. The title words: “/Law / and/ Lawyers/” are on the upper half of the spine. The imprint is at the tail. On the spine, the title is printed along its length. The price: “1/-“ [one shilling] is printed on the tail of the spine. The colophon on the lower cover is “[London:] Edmund Evans, Engraver and Printer, Racquet Court, Fleet Street.”
