Description
English: Masked water tyrant (Fluvicola nengeta) at woods near Analândia, SP
Português: Registro efetuado em uma mata próximo à cidade Analândia-SP, a ave estava pousada em um mourão, caçando insetos nas proximidades. Nome Científico: Fluvicola nengeta. Nome Inglês: Masked Water Tyrant. Ave cujas cores predominantes são o preto e branco, seu habitat preferido são as margens dos açudes, rios e brejos de onde alimenta-se de pequenos artrópodes. Também são encontradas em parques e jardins de centros uranos. A União Internacional para a conservação da natureza classifica essa espécie como pouco preocupante (risco de extinção). Registros dessa ave são encontrados desde o Pará e Mato Grosso até Santa Catarina.
