Summary

[edit]
Description
English: This photo started life in our collections with the barest bones of skeletal information, i.e. Mrs J. Allingham, group 3 of Tramore, Co. Waterford and that the photo was taken on 22 September 1906.

Thanks to the 1901 census online, we now know…
This is Mrs Laura Allingham, 31 (born in Kilkenny and wife of John). The boy is John William (aged 7). They lived at Waterford Road, Tramore. Mr Allingham was a member of the Church of Ireland, while Laura and John William were Roman Catholic. The household also consisted of Sophia Hayden (Laura's sister) and two servants, Susan Calthorpe and Mary Kate Foley, who spoke both Irish and English.

This is the Allingham Household's Return Form, 31 March 1901.
