Description

Vue de la façade avant des immeubles Laubenganghaüser

Ces immeubles, peints en rose et en beige, construits parmi les premiers sur la Karl-Marx-Allee, en 1949-1950, sont inspirés par le style du Bauhaus.

Conçus par Hans Sharoun, ils n'ont pas été appréciés par Walter Ulbricht (secrétaire général du parti communiste à l'époque) qui leur a préféré des bâtiments plus spectaculaires, d'inspiration néoclassique.
