Description
English: Late medieval to post medieval copper alloy spectacle buckle (1350-1720) (Whitehead 2003, Chapter 6). The object is in good condition with a buckle pin still in place, attached to central strap bar. The pin is 'S' curved at tip. The buckle has simple moulded decoration in form of a lobed knop at either end of strap bar.
