Title |
Late medieval to early post medieval buckle |
||
Description |
English: A cast copper-alloy buckle of late Medieval to early Post-Medieval date (c. 1450-1600).
The buckle is incomplete, one half of a rectangular double-looped buckle with one outer frame and crossbar survining. The end of the cross bar has a slightly offset and incomplete base of a suspension loop. The buckle is probably related to harnessing. |
