Late medieval buckle: Annular buckle
Description
English: An incomplete copper alloy annular double looped buckle dating to the late Medieval to early Post Medieval period. The buckle is missing its pin, while the frame is moulded in the form of a five-petalled flower where the slightly irregular petals all have a concave central dip. These buckles date from c. AD 1450-1550.
