Late Saxon penannular finger ring/earring
Description
English: Late Anglo-Saxon penannular finger ring or ear ring, oval-sectioned formed from hammered sheet, seam visible on reverse, tapering to a point at both ends, internal diameter approximately 20mm, one end bent inward. Cf. Goodall in Rogerson and Dallas (1984) fig.110, nos.17, 20 and 21.
