Title |
Late Post Medieval to early Modern musket shot |
||
Description |
English: A lead alloy shot of probably Post Medieval to early Modern date (AD 1600-1800). Probably a very large musket ball. The shot is sub spherical in form with an uneven mid grey colour. The surface of the shot is rough, possibly as a result of chewing by small animals. A flattened area is present suggesting that the shot was fired and hit something hard.
Diameter: 18.11mm. Weight: 29.6g. |
