Title
Late Palaeolithic to Early Mesolithic Lithic Implement
Description
English: The broken tip from a large flint 'long blade' implement. The flint is pale grey-blue in colour. The artefact has been provisionally dated to the final upper palaeolithic period (40,000 - 8,300 BC) although based on the tip of the blade alone this cannot be confirmed. The artefact measures 33.84mm long by 17.62mm wide, is 3.55mm thick and weighs 2.16g.
