Late Medieval copper alloy ewer spout
Description
English: Medieval copper alloy Zoomorphic ewer spout, 80mm long, 21mm wide and 22mm thick. The object is in good condition and weighs 55.08 grams. The object is intact and is crescentic in form with an opening at an oblique angle. The working end is in the form of a dogs head with sub rectangular ears and a circular sectioned spout protruding from its mouth. The spout comes from a pedestal ewer, this type dates largely to the 15th century.
