Late Iron Age or early Roman fibula brooch
Description
English: Iron Age brooch; Cast copper alloy simple fibula brooch of late Iron Age or early Roman date (1st century AD). The brooch has a coil of wire to hold the pin and which thereby forms the wings of the brooch. The bow of the brooch is a simple, unornamented band which tapers to the foot. There is no extant decoration. Pin and catchplate missing.

Span (back of head to foot) 27.1mm, estimated length (if straightened) 52mm, width (at head) 10.3mm, thickness 3.1mm, weight 4.23g
