Late Bronze Age Gold "Lock-Ring".
Description
English: A crumpled and distorted penannular gold ring of Late Bronze Age date (1000 BC - 800 BC). Treasure case no. BM2006 T95. Diameter 19mm. Weight 1.21g.

The object consists of two face-plates joined by a flat strip of gold to form a triangular cross-section. The joins were soldered but have largely sprung apart, although the soldered join remains intact at each end. Each face-plate is composed of thirteen gold wires soldered together concentrically.
