Description
English: A copper alloy late-Iron Age to Roman (c.100 BC-AD c.200) end-looped cosmetic pestle from a cosmetic set. Overall, the object measures 53.1mm long, 3.8mm wide and 8.9mm thick. It weighs 4.29g.

The pestle terminates with a 'shepherd's crook' coiled loop. The shaft is broadly rectangular in section with slightly chamfered edges. The shaft swells in thickness to 4.9mm in the middle and narrows to a blunt point.
