| Description |
English: Last vestiges of Cannon Street, Derby (soon to be destroyed) The line of Cannon Street can still be seen, but soon all will disappear under the long awaited final stage of Derby's inner ring road (some 40+ years in the making). Cannon Street was part of an area known as the "Little City", which consisted of low quality high density old housing, and was cleared in 1959-1961 as part of "slum" clearance. At the current time this area is given over to car parking. |
