Summary
[edit]DescriptionLast valley (2448480791).png |
Huge job brought many challenges in the valley details. this was the last valley on a job with close to 60 varying sections of valley and approximately a dozen curved sweeps which all had to be patterned . Here a "Blowback" under the sweeping trim end prevents highwind (coastal storm) driven rain from being blown in behind the cedar shingles, the blowback is incorporated into the sweeping valley and Jog in the corner detail. This had to be done in a particular order and finally sweating the sweep joint and short corner hip. All to make it look like it was "born there". Note the "blowback" was developed for this job and was not specified for or by anyone but us (we did not want to be called back thus the blowbacks on EVERY trim ending into the cedar roof.) |
