| Description |
English: Last houses in Warrington Road, Spring View This row, and the nearby row in Dale Street, are known as 'Clinker Valley' locally. Beyond the last houses at each end of this row was a railway line and the main Warrington Road, which runs to the left of the overhanging trees, rises to cross the southernmost line by a bridge, while the northernmost line was elevated on an embankment overshadowing the terrace. It would have been a place which felt cut off from the rest of the community. |
