English: Last house standing in Idrigill Idrigill was once a thriving township of some fourteen houses. It was totally depopulated by 1877.
The house in the foreground was re-occupied by 1901 but deserted again in 1955. Beyond is Loch Bracadale, with the Cuillin mountains on the horizon. (More information - Historic Environmental Record - http://her.highland.gov.uk/SingleResult.aspx?uid=MHG4758 ). |
