English: Maj. Monte Powell, team chief of Iraqi Marine Training Team 03 and Tulsa, Okla. native takes charge of his 13 U.S. Marines trainers during a final formation before leaving here Oct. 14. IqMTT-03 will be the last Marine team of Operation New Dawn to leave Iraq. The Marines from Camp Pendleton, Calif., assigned to I Marine Expeditionary Force deployed in May. The team spent the last several months training Iraqi marines in various skills such as patrolling, night operations, weapons training and search and seizure techniques. IqMTT-03 will be a part of history as the last OND Marine team that left Iraq.
