В воскресенье, 31 июля 2016 года, на фасаде здания 5/7 по Камергерскому переулку была установлена табличка «Последний адрес» Василия Алексеевича Папкова, обвиненного в “проведении контрреволюционной агитации в пользу немецких фашистов”.

К моменту ареста Василий Алексеевич возглавлял часть учета и отчетности 4-го отдела Технического управления ВМФ СССР. Приговор – расстрел был приведен в исполнение 16 октября 1941.

Василий Алексеевич Папков был полностью реабилитирован за отсутствием состава преступления в 1958 году.
