Борис Зиновьевич Гермайзе, сотрудник Госбанка, был арестован 26 марта 1938 года и обвинен, как и большинство его соседей по дому, в «участии в контрреволюционной террористической операции». В сталинском расстрельном списке от 24 апреля 1938 года его имя под номером 63. Ровно через месяц после ареста, 26 апреля 1938 года Военная коллегия Верховного суда приговорила его к расстрелу. Приговор был приведен в исполнение в тот же день. Ему было 34 года.
