Description
Español: Caricatura en la portada de la revista satírica "El Corsario", Edición Nº 2 del 19 de abril de 1866 se titula "Las Columnas del Trono". Puede verse en él una ofensiva imagen de la Reina Isabel II, con un trono que se cae a pedazos mientras es sostenida por "Don Leopoldo" (el Ejército), "P. Cirilo" (el Clero) y "Sor Patrocinio" (la Iglesia):
  • "Don Leopoldo" dice: "No afloje Padre con dos mil demonios!"
  • "Padre Cirilo" responde: "Quien afloja es la hermana Patrocinio"
  • A su vez, "Sor Patrocinio" espeta: "Que tengo que aflojar... si yo aflojase!"
  • Y el Pueblo contesta: "Quien se afloja es el TRONO; está podrido"...
