Description
English: Northward view of the Las Vegas Strip from the overhead pedestrian bridge between MGM Grand Las Vegas and New York-New York Hotel and Casino. It's the same spot where I took this photo in 2007. Aria, Mandarin Oriental the Cosmopolitan and The Crystals were not in the 2007 photo because the CityCenter complex was still under construction at the time. On the other hand, Bellagio's sign is now hidden behind Aria's gigantic vertical monitor from this angle. The orange light in the sky is a cloud reflecting city lights; it had been raining in the Las Vegas area (and snowing in the mountains). New York-New York's bridge area is blocked off for construction. If you zoom in, you can see a banner in front of the bridges, indicating that there will be a new Hershey's Chocolate World at this location, which is across from M&M's World. It's supposed to look like this when it debuts in 2014.
