English: WF.HL.005497

Fra Larvik havn. Larvik havnevesen holdt til rett til høyre for småbåthavna, og holder fremdeles til der. Lekterne som ses ved siden av den okergule bygningen til høyre for småbåthavna ble antagelig brukt til oppgaver som reparasjon av kaianlegg, fjerning av mudder, å slå ned pæler o.l.

Her litt om noen av bygningene vi ser i bildet:

Laurvig Hospital. Arkiver herfra finnes ved Statsarkivet i Kongsberg og er beskrevet på Arkivportalen.

Munken kino. Arkiver fra Larvik kommunale kino (som holdt til i Munken) finnes ved IKA Kongsberg, og er beskrevet på Arkivportalen.

Larvik Potetmelfabrikk A/L, arkiver herfra finnes hos Vestfoldarkivet, og er beskrevet på Arkivportalen. 

Karistranda småbåthavn

Herregården

Helt til høyre i bildet ser vi to skoler, Torstrand skole hvor bl.a. Thor Heyerdahl var elev, og Mesterfjellet skole. Begge er nedlagt nå, og elevene er overført til nye Mesterfjellet skole.
