Description
Українська: Гусениця бражника тополевого (Laothoe populi) знайдена на молодій тополі чорній Populus nígra. На задньому кінці тіла гусениці є характерний щільний наріст — «ріг» який чітко виокреслює бражників. Фото зроблено на початку вересня 2020 р. для проєкту з інвентаризації біологічного різноманіття Ржищівської об'єднаної територіальної громади (Київська область, Україна).
English: The Larva of Laothoe populi was found on a young Populus nígra. At the rear end of the caterpillar's body there is a characteristic dense growth - "horn" which clearly distinguishes the Sphingidae (or "hornworm"). The photo was taken in early September 2020 for a project to inventory the biological diversity of the Rzhyshchiv United Territorial Community (Kyiv region, Ukraine).
