Despite incorrect title in University of Washington Libraries collection, this is transport of timber for the construction of the Mechanics Pavilion at the Chicago World's Columbian Exposition, Seattle, Washington, ca. 1893. "Timber for Mechanics Pavilion World's Fair Length 125 ft." Timber is being loaded on railroad trucks on Western Ave. at the corner of Marion St. W. I. Hammond Hay, Grain, and Storage at right.
