Description
Italiano: Lapide in ricordo di Adelmo Sassatelli, posta il 16 marzo 2014 a Savoniero, frazione di Palagano (Mo), in occasione delle celebrazioni per il settantesimo anniversario della strage nazifascista di Monchio, Costrignano e Susano in cui morirono 136 civili inermi il 18 marzo 1944. L'epigrafe recita "In memoria di Adelmo Sassatelli. Catturato, senza colpa e motivo, il 17 marzo, fucilato, innocente, il 19 marzo 1944 presso la Rocca di Montefiorino dalla ferocia nazi-fascista. Nel settantesimo anniversario della strage del 18 marzo 1944, Savoniero lo ricorda."
English: Plaque in memory of Adelmo Sassatelli, plant on March 16, 2014 at Savoniero fraction of Palagano (Mo), on the occasion of the celebration of the seventieth anniversary of the Nazi massacre of Monchio, Costrignano and Susano which killed 136 civilians on March 18, 1944. The inscription reads "In memory of Adelmo Sassatelli. Caught without fault and reason, on March 17, shot, innocent, on March 19, 1944 at the Castle of Montefiorino by the ferocity of the Nazi-fascist. In the seventieth anniversary of the massacre of March 18, 1944 , Savoniero remember him."
