| Description |
English: Lane NW from Moor Hey, Fixby. This seems to have led originally to quarries, but more recently to what looks like a mink farm, now derelict. I found a post in the SICM Forum, whatever that is, that included: "I know there were some animal activists in Elland West Yorkshire who invaded a mink farm to deliberately set all the animals free. The mink then proceeded to devastate the wildlife in a fairly wide area. Not only the wildlife but some children's pet rabbits were also killed." Perhaps the farm closed after that. Fixby water treatment works is on the horizon. |
