Description
Deutsch: Das Landschaftsschutzgebiet Aachtobel bei Maria im Stein liegt im FFH-Gebiet Bodensee Hinterland bei Überlingen. Zu bieten hat es äußerst fotogene Aufschlüsse in den Sandsteinen der Oberen Süßwassermolasse. Am kurvenäußeren Ufer der Aach bilden sie bis über zehn Meter hohe Steilwände. Der hier zu sehenden Aufschluss liegt am oberen linken Talhang bei der Marienkapelle.
