Description
English:
Törvényszék (~Regional Court) building. Two storey corner building. Built toHungarian Royal Court in 1911-1912. Late Eclectic style. Planned by Jenő Hübner. Construction: by Chressel and Gaál builder masters from Brasov (now Romania). The south wing used for educational purpose since 1950s till 1999. On its top are two ~2m high statues, Praetor and Justitia (1912 limestone building ornaments). Local grade listed - 2? Civitas Fortissima Square = 10? Rákóczi fejedelem Street cnr., Balassagyarmat, Nógrád County, Hungary.

A Balassagyarmati Törvényszék és a Balassagyarmati Járásbíróság épülete. Az épület terveit Hübner Jenő/1863-1929/ készítette, aki a késői eklektika képviselõje volt. A Magyar Királyi Törvényszék építését 1911-1912 között épült Chressel és Gaál brassói építőmesterek. A déli épületszárnya-amely a Rákoczi fejedelem útra néz- az ötvenes évektól egészen 1999-ig oktatási intézményeknek adott helyet. A régi Vármegyeház, a börtön között pedig a törvényszék gazdasági-felszámolási bíráinak, a Cégbíróságnak, a törvényszéki végrehajtóknak és a büntetésvégrehajtási csoportnak az elhelyezésére szolgáló 1990-ben megszerzett épülete található. főhomlokzati szobrai (Felállítás 1912, Hübner Jenő (építész, közreműködő)) bal oldali szobor Praetor, a törvényt és bíráskodást ábrázolja, a jobb oldalon Justitia, az igazság szobra látható.
