Deutsch: Die stauferzeitliche Burg wurde Ende des 12. Jh. erstmal urkundlich erwähnt. 1357 ging die Burg an Graf Eberhard II. von Württemberg über.
Heute wird die Burg in erster Linie für Veranstaltungen, Familienfeiern usw. genutzt. Die Burg kann im Rahmen einer regelmäßig stattfindenden Führung durch die Tourismusgemeinschaft Marbach-Bottwartal besichtigt werden. Besonders sehenswert ist die Burgkapelle (um 1230). Ist es Graf Eberhard im Bart mit einer renaissancezeitlichen Halskrause, der am Eingang zur Burg Wache hält ? |
