Deutsch: Das Tübinger Riesenweinfass ist das älteste unter den überdimensionalen Fässern aus der Frühneuzeit, die sich damals einige Fürsten geleistet haben. Es stammt aus dem Jahr 1549 und wurde von Herzog Ulrich von Württemberg bei Meister Simon Binder in Auftrag gegeben. Es umfasst 84.000 Liter oder 286 Eimer, wobei ein Eimer 294 Litern entspricht. Die Maße sind: 6,80 m lang, 4,70 breit. Die Eichen stammen aus dem nahegelegenen Schönbuch-Wald. |
