Description
English: Display above the main entrance of the Alpine Lodge (now La Quinta Inns & Suites) near Fairbanks International Airport west of Fairbanks, Alaska, focused on a dog sled belonging to local musher Lance Mackey. The signs states that this is the sled he used to win the 2007 and 2008 Iditarod and Yukon Quest races. It also states "The sled is on loan until the snow flies", except that it's sat there in that spot continuously for years (not like tourist will know any better).
