| Description |
English: The first station in Lancaster was the terminus of the Lancaster and Preston Junction Railway in the Greaves district near the canal. It was superseded by the Lancaster and Carlisle station by the castle in 1849 although the plaque gives the date as 1846. From 1846 to 1849 both stations were in use. |
