English: Lamp, earthenware, with stamped decoration, green glaze. "A hand thrown earthenware lamp (after the ancient Roman type) with a flat circular slightly indented base, wide flat foot ring wich flares gently up and out to a self-formed spout (with an ovular opening) at one side; and an angular handle at the other; attached at shoulder and lower body; the shoulder of the body curving in and extending sligtly up and surrouded by a band of relief decoration; the whole surface (except the base of the foot) coveredin an uneven green glaze. Maker- unknown, possibly Barum Ware by C.H. Brannam Ltd of Barnstaple, Devon.
