| Description |
English: Lambs by Doethie Fawr, Ceredigion For various reasons, there are fewer sheep grazing in this valley than there used to be. As recently as the mid 1990s, over 1200 sheep would be shorn in the shed by Ty'n Cornel in mid July. In 2007 it was down to about 600. The farmer across the valley no longer has sheep, and the lack of grazing has resulted in grass growing long and tussocky. Bracken has spread inexorably over the same period. |
