Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Title: Lake Washington Pontoon Bridge, Seattle, Washington
Subjects: Bridges
Places: Washington > King (county) > Seattle
Notes: Title from item. The bridge later became known as the Lacey V. Murrow Bridge and, as of 2015, is one of two bridges that carry Interstate 90 over Lake Washington from Seattle to Mercer Island. Most of the current pontoon sections are replacements rather than the originals: quite a few of these sank during repairs shortly after the opening of the parellel Homer M. Hadley Memorial Bridge.
