Summary

[edit]
Description
English: The image depicts a traditional fisherman on the waters of Lake Baringo, Rift Valley, Kenya. The traditional craft, unstable as it may look, has been used by generations upon generations of the indigenous Njemps community that reside in the Lake Baringo area. They are made from locally available hollow trees and are paddled using flat pieces of plastic or tree bark.
