English: Ladderstile Ride The 'ride' part of this road name presumably refers to its use as an entrance to Richmond Park for horse riders. But as the signpost shows, it now only has public footpath status. The 'ladderstile' at the park entrance has been replaced at some time by a tall metal gate. |
