Après que cette pâte est appliquée sur le verre au moyendu pinceau, on expose le verre au feu du moufle qui, parsa température, volatilise lessence de térébenthine et vi-trifie le borax. COUPES ET VERRES A BOIRE. 145 Lor ainsi solidement fixé sur le verre, on lui donne lebruni (partie polie et brillante) au moyen dun polissoir desanguine, auquel succède un brunissoir en agate.
