Description
Français : Cette synagogue construite en 1904 en briques rouges dans le style néo-roman est la plus grande de Berlin. Elle est l'une des rares à avoir échappé aux incendies de la nuit de cristal provoqués par les nazis en 1938. Après avoir été fermée pendant l'époque fasciste, elle est redevenue un lieu de culte.
Deutsch: Diese 1904 in rotem Backstein im neoromanischen Stil erbaute Synagoge ist die größte in Berlin. Sie ist eine der wenigen, die den von den Nazis 1938 verursachten Bränden der Reichskristallnacht entgangen ist. Nachdem sie während der Zeit des Faschismus geschlossen wurde, ist sie heute wieder ein Ort der Andacht.
