Description

Quan Am dans le sanctuaire de la pagode But Thap. La statue aux mille bras et mille yeux de Quan Am représente le Bodhissattva Avalokiteshvara.

La pagode But Thap (Ninh-Phuc) s'élève dans le village de Dinh To, à 30 Km au sud-est de Hanoi. Elle a été érigée en 1646-1647 par le moine chinois Minh Hanh. Elle compte plusieurs bâtiments dont quatre sont entourés d'un mur d'enceinte. Les bâtiments sont reliés par des galeries.
