Español: Retrato de María Amalia de Sajonia (1803-1829), que fue reina consorte de España por su matrimonio con Fernando VII, de quien fue la tercera esposa, y que era hija del príncipe Maximiliano de Sajonia y de la princesa Carolina de Borbón-Parma. La reina lleva el pelo sujeto con una peineta de carey y tiene bucles a ambos lados de su frente, luciendo además la banda y la cruz de la Orden de las Damas Nobles de la Reina María Luisa. El estilo del retrato y el aspecto maduro de la reina han llevado a algunos autores a afirmar que debió ser pintado hacia el año 1828, un año antes de la muerte de la soberana, y cuando tenía 23 años. |
