Description
English: Title: La piovra Russa

Abstract: Italian political cartoon shows a map of Europe and the Near East at the end of the Russo-Turkish War, with most countries personified as human figures, the major exception being Russia which is a large octopus, followed by Greece as a crab nibbling at the right arm of "Turchia" who is being entangled by the tentacles of the octopus. Physical description: 1 print : chromolithograph ; sheet 41.5 x 58.8 cm.
