Per la ricostruzione del chiostro di mezzo, sincominciò colfar venire in gran quantità marmi da Verona e di là alla Stel-lata sul Po, donde eran tratti a spese dei frati fin sul lorocolle. Un m.° Vincenzo, un m.° Gherardo Adamo e un m.° G.Battista, tutti tagliapietre veronesi, ne formarono colonne e ca-pitelli pel loggiato. Nel mezzo vi costrussero una fontana or-nata di quattro statue, tra cui un S. Michele, che furon dorateda un m.° Teodoro 2. 1 Masini, Bologna perlustrata. 2 Fabbrica 6, (1579-1616), c. 38 r. « Uscida fatta nella fabbricadel Claustro incominciato sotto il E. P.
