The frescoes were destroyed in 1632 upon the rebuilding of the church, but nine of them are recorded in commissioned copies in pen and wash by Francesco Sabatini made in the same year and today preserved in the Museo civico, Viterbo. The remaining fresco, previously destroyed to place an organ in the church, is the one that illustrates the studio that has survived, formed by this drawing and the one preserved in Dresden.
