Français : Les bonobos.
Le seul endroit en France pour découvrir le bonobo. Endémique de la République démocratique du Congo, le nom "bonobo" découle de la déformation du nom de la ville de Bolobo située sur les rives du fleuve Congo où les premiers spécimens furent capturés dans les années 1920. L'espèce est en danger de disparition, le déclin des populations étant principalement dû à la déforestation et au braconnage pour sa chair. Endemic to the Democratic Republic of Congo, the name "bonobo" derives from the deformation of the name of the city of Bolobo located on the banks of the Congo River where the first specimens were captured in the 1920s. The species is in danger of disappearing population decline is mainly due to deforestation and poaching for its meat. |
